Passing of Mr. Geoffrey Jennings Clarke
It is with deep regret that we learnt of the passing of Mr. Geoffrey Jennings Clark on the morning of Thursday, 24 September 2015, the very day we held our 40th Annual general Meeting. Mr. Clark held the position of President of the Insurance Council of St. Lucia (ICSL) from 1987-1988 and again from 1988-1989.
He also served as Executive Secretary of the Insurance Council of St. Lucia and was inducted at the Council’s maiden Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony which was held on Saturday, November 28, 2013.He will be remembered not only for his kindly ways but for his immense contribution to the industry both as a practitioner and a teacher. It was through his efforts that the Insurance Institute of insurance Inc (formerly the St. Lucia Insurance Institute) was born.
Mr. Clark passed away in England, the land of his birth, at the age of 87 and the industry mourns his loss.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
